Musharraf Summoned at Supreme Court

The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Wednesday has directed former president Pervaz Musharraf to appear on court on 29th July over judges’ case, Aaj TV reported.

A larger bench of Supreme Court headed by the Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry was hearing the case about appointment of adhoc judges’ and the steps taken on Nov 3, 2007 Emergency.

The Apex court has issued notice to the former president when the federation categorically refused to defend him in the court.
